Maybe a Little Distance is a Good Thing
Being at home for the last few months have us all looking at the rooms we live in, and reassessing what we love about them.
Weeks of isolation may have helped you realize what you love and want to change in your home. Perhaps you now have the urge to overhaul your entire house, or maybe it is just the kitchen.
There is a cost-effective way to work with a Designer that won’t break the bank and will give you professional results.
If you are willing to do a little work yourself with some guidance, we can make the changes you are looking for, whether it is to revamp your living room with reconfiguring the furniture layout, changing the paint colour and adding a few new pieces of furniture, or you want a full renovation of your kitchen or master bathroom, this is an option to make the improvements you desire.
We can work with you, by Designing from a Distance!
The traditional method tends to cost a lot more because of all the extra steps including meetings, site visits, product purchasing, installation and styling. What if we could give you all those steps to do yourself?
With this ‘hands-on’ way of doing your updates, you will be the co-creator of your new design.
Here is how it will work:
- We will spend a little time on the phone with you to determine your style, your objectives and how you would like us to help you.
- Next, we will do a Virtual Meeting via Facetime or Whatsapp where you can walk us through your home and the room(s) in particular that you want to work on.
- We will provide you with a couple of options to purchase from our services packages which are payable up front.
- You will then take some measurements (we will advise how and where to get the accurate measurements) and send those to us and we may also ask for a video and photos of the space.
- We will create the look you are after and will then send you our drawings and full colour 3D renderings if that is what you want.
- All selections of fabric, flooring, millwork, furnishings and paint colours will be sent on a Mood Board so that you can see the look of all materials put together.
- Once approved and there are no further changes needed, we will send you your completed designs and shopping list, showing you exactly where to purchase the items and how to place your orders, all within your budget.
What a great option for someone who wants to be ‘hands-on” and is willing to do a little work themselves. This is a great opportunity to use the professional services of a designer who’s work you have seen online that you love, and is not in your local area.
Doing this remotely, turns your ideas into reality with you in control doing the shopping and rolling this out in a timeframe that works for you.
